Image Trace can be used in Adobe Illustrator. Below is a step-by-step plan to vectorize your image with image tracing:
Vectorizing an image is possible in Photoshop, but certainly not recommended. Adobe Photoshop is intended for pixel files. Adobe Photoshop therefore does not have an Image Trace function.
Inkscape also has the function: trace image. Would you like to learn how to use Image Trace in Inkscape? Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open PNG or JPG Image in Inkscape
Open image in Inkscape or drag an image into your Inkscape document. If you drag it into your document, you may see the following prompt (I used the default settings below):
Click on your image to select it.
Step 2: Trace Bitmap (Path -> Trace Bitmap)
Next, mouse over Path in the top Inkscape toolbar and click Trace Bitmap.
This will open the following window. You want to use multiple scans, so click the Multiple Scans button and select Colors from the drop-down menu to keep the existing colors on the image in the new vector. You may need to increase the number of scans to cover all colors.
Step 3: Complete the Vectorization
Once you click OK in the Trace Bitmap window, it will take some time for Inkscape vectorize your image. Once your image has been successfully vectorized, click the Edit paths on nodes icon (it looks like a cursor with dots in a circle, see the image below).
Now if you click on the image, you will see a number of dots around the image. With these dots you can change the shape of the newly created vector to whatever you want.
There used to be a number of online tools to vectorize your image. She also used Image Trace or Image Tracing. Unfortunately, all these tools have a pricing model added. This means that you have to purchase a monthly subscription to use it.
